I haven't watched all of this video, but the "Paul is Dead" conspiracy theory is religiously followed by some cranks, even with the most tenuous links and facts.
New Peter Jackson film Get Back, due in September. The excellent Let It Be documentary getting re-released too. The new one uses lots of new footage and shows them in a better light than the acrimonious Let It Be one.

Has anyone else see the Beatles live? If not the Bootleg Beatles are a good substitute.
I've had it for years, can't remember where from. It's available from ebay, sure it'd be watchable. Been officially unavailabe for years.

You can't fault thier ballads ,and they were so well marketed, not a fan of anything McCartney has done post Beatles , I have though enjoyed Lennon's solo stuff
A day in a time machine would be great.

This isn't their Stockholm show (one that Lennon scoured the Liverpool shops for a recording of). I'm less of a fan of their early stuff, but it's fascinating to see people reacting to their music - something we don't really get in the studio years other than RS reviews.
I love the way they do "one more song", the presenter seemed a little put out by that. There could well have been an element of "who do these guys think they are" seeing as it is very early in their career. It's amazing to think that, within 3 years, their music takes a new course from copying the music of the day, to setting the music of the day.
I agree that their early stuff wasn't as good. After "Love Me Do" they seemed to go downhill but their later stuff is well ahead of their time.
Day tripper is a heavy song
I'd recommend this book for the musically inclined among us, and those with inquisitive minds..
