I said I expect some strange results in this period. Much will depend how focussed each team is. In front of an empty stadium it seems away teams are winning most games in Germany but hopefully our Leeds hoodoo will continue.
3-1 City
Ps what are the odds on Dai Hunt turning up at CCS. Odds on I reckon.
2-1 to us. Traditional ain't it.
NML to start? Depends how fit he is after his injury. That said, if he is up to it, I'd love to think he'd score or at least provide an assist early on. Otherwise, a sensible starting line up.
Score? God knows. Anything could happen. After the first 10 minutes at the reverse fixture up at Elland Road it looked like we were on for a 6 nil stuffing. But then....🙂 Oh for a 4th. I think Leeds will benefit most from playing behind closed doors. 2-2, maybe.
As for Dai Hunt. If ever there was a case for permanent social distancing! In his case, a scarfes length, minimum. He is probably on his way to the CCS right now in case a TV crew turn up to do a vox pop on the Championship opening up.
1-0 City. The real Neil is taking us back up.
It's hard to make a judgement on this isn't it. Would be hilarious if Leeds' form completely goes to shit.
Bielsa's teams usually run out of steam late in the season so the break might have been good for them.
I only realised today that we are just 2 points behind 6th place.
All to play for.
play NML up front, Paterson right, Adomah left
Don't the loan players go back to their parent clubs on 30 June meaning our team will be depleted after that date.
Neil Harris said he has "no concerns" over the availability of loan players for the remainder of the season.
Wolverhampton Wanderers' Dion Sanderson, Nottingham Forests' Albert Adomah and Bournemouth's Brad Smith all have loan deals at the Cardiff City Stadium which run until 30 June.
The season looks set to run over that date and into July, but Harris says that should not be a problem.
"EFL guidelines state that after that date, as long as the player and the club agree to extend the loan then it will be extended until the final game," said Harris.
"All three have come back in and have been working brilliantly and they want to play, so I have no concerns whatsoever that the loan players will be available.
"Obviously we will have to check that contractually with their [parent] clubs as we go along but I don't foresee any problems."
Also injured Greg Cunningham and Isaac Vassell won't play again this season.
Forgot about Sanderson, he looked decent in the one appearance I saw him.
We seem to be in a good place with every one fit and a large squad. Obviously I am not sure about other teams but I think we can have a right go at the playoffs.
I still think we can get in playoffs with the large squad we have. Several teams near the top with small squads will suffer.
Four points from the first two and we'll be rocking and rolling. I'm sure not so long before lockdown started I read we had the third most points in the league since the real Neil took over. See what he's made of. I don't back Bristol or Millwall to stick about.
