I think this thread shows there a number of important players but perhaps not one who absolutely stands out.

My serious answer is that the OP can’t be far off with Wintle, but, McGuinness has become an automatic selection in recent months. Of the recent signings, I’d say Drameh is the one who is most likely to play every match.

I did say Bob, the only rule is no GK only outfield players!
