Thunderstorm forecast for the 2nd half https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather...ate=2022-06-05
In a normal time I would be confident of a Wales win. Unfortunately because of the war in Ukraine I sense there is a force behind them, that Wales will not be able to counter.
Hope I'm wrong
Let's speculate on which country the FIFA top brass want to qualify from tomorrow's game. I'll say Ukraine, and the officials will be left in little doubt what's expected of them.
Bale missing from the press conference. Busy signing his bluebirds contract probably.
Ref looks pretty card happy: https://uk.soccerway.com/referees/an...u-lahoz/46239/
Moore will definitely get at least a yellow card if he plays
Very confident about this. We're a much better team than Scotland, we've got attackers to start, good ones with pace. Ukraine will be knackered after the Scotland games
2-0 Wales - Bale, James
ITV are simply showing Sky's coverage, they aren't providing any of their own coverage.
There might be an interesting conundrum for ITV if the game goes into extra time. It's likely the game will stil be going at 7.30pm. It definitely will if it goes to penalties. ITV have Britain's Got Talent scheduled to start at 7.30. Would they delay the start of BGT if the game did go into extra time?
Our time is now
Back in UK, up 12 hours before kick off & ready to go …
As a neutral you’d put big money on wales to win this one by a score
Wales are a much better side with Ukraine underprepared and with a fitness concern after the Scotland game.
But as a Wales fan, knowing the history and being a natural pessimist I expect to lose
Either way I’m proud of the team but we’ve got to take this opportunity
Like I said in another thread hope the red wall don’t make it a love in.
Come on Wales! First home game I've missed in years due to other commitments (cheers Putin) but will have more than half an eye on the score.
This Welsh team should have too much pace and firepower for them so let's just hope they don't get overawed by the occasion.
Waaaaaaales
I’ve done 3-1 WALES 25/1 put £5 on
Really? Bookies can barely split the sides. I think we will win but dont think we are a much better side than Ukraine.
Also im not convinced that leaving out virtually the entire first team was the right decision. Weve got our 2 best players lacking game time. Rodon barely kicks a ball for Spurs. Ukraine will be game ready and on a high.
I dont think theres much at all between the teams but weve got home advantage.
Ukrainian love in on Sky Sports already
... for the greater good of the world's football community... will bring a little light into the lives of the war-torn citizens of Ukraine.
I'm waiting for someone to suggest the Wales players appear on the pitch an hour before kick-off to hold blue and yellow boards above their heads for 20 minutes, followed by spending 10 minutes on their knees applauding Ukraine's President Zelensky whose face appears on the screens.
