Congrats mate, you've uncovered the first political figure to ever make insensitive and derogatory remarks about an opponent.
She’s apologised and been suspended straight away
No doubt some media will jump on this but given how it’s been appropriately dealt with seems a bit of a non story now
Stupid bitch , doing the Tories work for them the day before the leaders speech
Absolutely nothing going on upstairs , these people will rant and rant but they are no help in getting labour elected
She's an elected mp , she should be keeping things above water not damaging the party
Look how all the Tories are jumping on the horse to slag off the labour party regarding racism
Daft bitch
The whole mini-drama will only draw people to Labour, and I offer myself as evidence of that. I assure you that a lot of people object to the kind of identity politics obsession that has taken hold within left-wing circles. In most cases it's just annoying, but it also sows the seeds of division and every so often it manifests itself in comments like Rupa Huqs - that she was quickly suspended and quickly apologised is impressive and gives me hope that Labour won't become enslaved to that kind of thinking.
A few things have put me off Labour in recent years. Off the top of my head;
1 - We generally needed a change after 2008 - Needless to say we are well past that now
2 - They needed to embrace and respect leaving the EU
3 - Need to stand up for Britain and not flirt with the SNP
4 - Need to denounce Corbynism more widely
5 - Economic competence (the most important)
6 - Come up with some kind of viable policies on immigration
7 - Address the general obsession of identity politics / race / what some may call 'wokeism'.
Yesterdays speech alone was probably the single most likely thing that would make me vote Labour since Blair. I still think we need change in Wales mind.
Did she not call Rishi a little brown man as well ??
There are many reports of this behaviour form within the Labour party and its supporters , they are racist just we have to accept is as we do of the other parties ..
We were told that racism played a huge part in the Brexit leave decision, and yes hoards of Labour voters ticked that box to leave ,many in Wales .

Best way to approach is how socialist consider the Tories as alleged racist ,well sorry so Labour and have been caught out again so many times especially in their little nasty fringe events .
I think this is partly an Indian v Pakistan thing .
Find it amusing how she points the finger of the Eton privilege and expression of Kwasi Kwarteng , she also had a privilege background delivered by her parents .. Rupa is a metropolitan Labour elite East Pakistan lady ,with a grievance in my humble view worth noting she went to the private Notting Hill and Ealing High School. & Newnham College, Cambridge.
The biggest worry we should perhaps reorganise that black people have got into very top jobs in the Tory party sadly its a sore point for others ......... at least the UK can provide it gave immigrants a platform to succeed .
Finally lets consider the fact that Eton has 19% of black attendees , the UK black Demographic is at 13% .
Can any Labour supporters inform us how a black chap should sound on the radio?
This isn't in anyway any sort of Labour endorsement, but a few things have put me off the Tories in recent years. Off the top of my head;
1 - We need a change
2 - They needed to embrace and respect Europe and the benefits of working closely with Europe and the EU.
3 - Need to stand up for Wales and not try and take powers away from Wales.
4 - Need to denounce the far right.
5 - Economic competence (the most important). We've had 12 years of Tory rule and surely nobody can say they've been economically competent.
6 - Come up with some kind of viable policies on immigration, not embrace a Brits vs Foreigners approach.
7 - Address stupid xenophobia, not going back to the days when Britain ruled half of the world, that being British is better than anything
8 - The lack of heart shown towards our poorest and most suffering people.
Cheers thankfully I wasn't the one that started it and people in trust like Boris or Rupa should know better ..
Labour needs to pour over all its MP's social media and comments and purge out its nasties , at that point they could be highly electable .. that won't happened though it the big cities with a high concentration of voters that appeal to Rupa narratives , that is why she has uttered these terminologies .
Just look to Leicester for guidance .
We all know what will happen during the next general election. The 2008 economic crash will again be blamed on Labour, despite not one neutral economic organisation agreeing with that. The Tories will attempt some form of "fact checking" operation in an attempt to obfuscate people and rewrite history. Despite their failings in government, the Tories know how to win elections.
Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland didn't vote for a Tory government, but it's what we've all been given by England.
