Does Qatar Airways still fly out of Cardiff Airport?
£13k might as well be £0 in this context. The Welsh Government's budget next year is just shy of £23Bn.
Are you really going to pretend to be up in arms over 0.00005% of the budget being spent on a business trip?
its hardly worth writing about. £13k is pretty good value given these two men are at the top of Welsh politics.
It's a jolly, stop trying to defend it, if had been Boris six months ago you would have been bleating on about it for months.
Show some consistency, it can't be bad for Boris/Rishi, but great for Drakeford/Corbin/Starmer.
It's a waste of taxpayers' money, they went because it's a free trip to see the World Cup, they've previously shown no interest in football, and disadvantaged welsh clubs by not allowing them to have fans when English teams could gain home advantage with fans at games.
It's not only the money, they should have been working hard here sorting out the NHS and trying to prevent strikes from Nurses and Ambulance service workers, it's not the right time for a jolly, Wales is in a right mess.
Dozy tory idiots moan away
You are going to be absolutely wiped out at the next election
So suck on that
If it was Boris gone you would be going mental, the hypocrisy from the lefties is unbelievable, they can't even see it.
Boris had a sandwich at work sack him, but it's fine for Drakeford to leave his post whenever he wants and go on holiday, to countries with terrible human rights issues and all the rest, £13k that's fine he could have spent as much as he likes that's perfect he's a leftie, different rules apply.
Sandwich = Sack (unless it's Beer and Curry obviously that's allowed as it's Starmer)
Free jolly abroad at taxpayers' cost = Perfect crack on spending more next time
Donald Trump has cost US taxpayers over $500,000,000 over the last 2 years just by lying about election fraud.
It's a God-awful small affair
For the first time in my lifetime the country of Wales took part in a worldwide event in its own right. Not as part of England and not as part of the UK. It was a chance for some of our leaders to network with others, rather than let James Cleverly represent the UK government, when he's more likely to just be representing England.
£13k is fine,it's just a shame we were crap and he didn't have the opportunity to stay longer.
Don't want to piss on anyone's chips but on the day of the England game we wandered down to the Corniche where there was the giant bucket to be met by the Secretary of State for Wales, David TC Davies, resplendent in a a brand new bucket hat, with three of his entourage looking for Welsh speakers to do an interview with.
Not fitting the criteria I politely declined. Chatting to one of his team he left his post for a country with terrible human rights looking for investment from it. This report of a meeting several days before seems to back that up. Still....Boris and a sandwich eh!

"Boris" wasn't sacked, he resigned after pretty much all his party turned against him once they realised that an increasingly large majority of the country couldn't stand him. They didn't care what he had or hadn't done up to that point.
He's doing fine though, having been in the Caribbean for a holiday he almost certainly didn't pay for that was cut short, not because he had work to do in his constituency (his actual job that tax payers pay him to do) but because he sniffed a chance of becoming PM again.
Or what you said. One or the other.
