    Oh yes - I agree with all of that. It's just that I liked some of the later poppy stuff as well - but not as much as the earlier songs.

    Simply The Best is a great song

    I am not a big fan of her stuff , I wouldn't put her in the same class as the Supremes , Aretha Franklin , Nina Simone

    Saw her at Woburn Abbey around 1990.
    The minute she walked onto the stage she had the crowd in her pocket.
    That's a rare quality to have.
