I swear they posted Nathan Jones was done a month ago. I would take Garcia or Jones, though. Both are actual managers with pedigree. The Garcia one is a strong lead though. I reckon it's him.

Nathan Jones now the fav, tbh comes across a bit of an idiot but he seems like a top class choice when bloody Bamba was the fav.

Better than playing it safe and talk about getting numbers in the building and out on the grass.

Seems a bit mad on tv.....not sure if idiot is the right word.

I think I had a chat with him on the phone once....long story.....anyway, he seemed totally down to earth.

Don't think his personality is an issue.

I’d much prefer managers like Jones and Bellamy only when Tan is no longer here. He’ll stifle them otherwise.

Give me Garcia (who I had never heard of before yesterday) and here’s hoping he can bring in 3-4 hidden gems from one of his 73 previous clubs.

Firstly, I’d like to have Nathan Jones here

I don’t know how it all works but I assume that Southampton have paid / paying him off which would be Premier League standard wages.
So he gets paid that contracted wage as long as he’s on ‘gardening leave’ and not getting a new club

Southampton would only stop paying this if NJ finds new employment which would mean Cardiff matching NJ’s EPL Southampton wages.
Could we afford / want to pay this type of wage and if not would NJ take a pay cut … I don’t think so to manage our sh1t show of a club
Alternatively I suppose Cardiff could offer less money and Southampton ‘swallow’ the rest and take a smaller hit than having to pay him till his contract ends

Any thoughts on this anyone?
