It's probably in a Victorian conservation area - so there are rules that everyone has to abide by. Colours can only be victorian colours (pink isnt one of them) - cant have upvc windows, usually on sash windows etc. They do it to stop people ruining the Victorian aestheticOriginally Posted by bobh
