Langley was a terribly disappointing signing.

Seriously - deep down in your bones, how are you all feeling about the forthcoming season?
Will let you know the evening before our first game of the season starts v Leeds. Let's see who else 'Bulut the Blue Sky' gets in between now and then.

I think as thing stands we will likely go down.( i dont think they will stand the same and in a few weeks hopefully the squad looks a lot better)

However Ramsey signing will be a huge boost. If he , Robinson and O Dowda stay fit that will really boost our survival chances massively.

If Ramsey signs I think that will help us so much and see us safe.

If we can ship out at least half a dozen of Morisons signings and add 4 quality players. Keeper, centre back , central midfielder , striker then things will look very different and a season away from the bottom 8 and mid table could be possible.

How much dealing we can do with so many players not good enough , need shipping out but under contract is another thing.

Above all else just want to see a different brand of football not the dross we have had to endure the last few seasons

Think we could end up 15th or 16th.
Not relegation but nowhere near good enough for the top half with the players we have. Ramsey will add quality but still no striker with championship ability

"As thing stands we will likely go down" ?!!

Wow that's incredibly negative when you consider Robinson and Collins are back, Meite is a proven Championship player and we have what looks like a new dominant centre back. Even without further additions I would say that we easily have a mid table team. What should also not be overlooked is that last season's players will know each others games better which should help them to play more cohesively.

With Ramsey and a few more quality additions in key areas I can see us surprising a few people this season.

In fairness, we don't know how well Collins will/has recovered from serious injury. We also don't know whether Meite will be able to rediscover his form prior to an identical injury.
Having both a fit O'Dowda and Robinson return will be a big boost.
Will the new centre-back be an improvement on a very reliable Kipre? Time will tell.

Pretty neutral, I think the present squad (including Ramsey) would face another struggle I reckon we need some good loan signings if we are to improve on last season.

Personally I think the team of last year were not dealt a fair hand - so many new players, ridiculous turnover of managers and longish term injuries to what probably were considered 5 important players to us at the time in Collins Adams Davies Colwill and Robinson

However I am usually overly excited at this time of the pre season despite my age when I should a little bit more jaundiced

                            Can't wait

Ramsey (assuming he will sign) apart, what makes you think things are suddenly going to be better? If it's nothing more than blind optimism, fair enough.

Re: How are you all feeling about the forthcoming season?

At the moment, I'm still of the opinion that all Bulut has done so far, is replace like for like. We've brought in Goutas in place of Kipre, Ugbo in place of Kaba, and Meite in place of Harris. So, are we really any better off?
And if Ramsey does put pen to paper, it probably means he'll be edging out either Ralls or Wintle from the side. More like for like, then (though hopefully with slightly more quality). Is that good?
What he hasn't done is actually improve the squad in any way, though I agree it might be too early to call that one. But then, the return of Collins, plus Bagan, should free up O'Dowda on the left, and if he has the nerve to play Tanner on the right, we could possibly end up with a slightly better side than we had last season. But can Ramsey and Colwill carry the midfield? Hmm.
But all this is going to mean the likes of Ojo, Sawyer, Philogene, Adams, Rinhomota, and King will be sitting on the bench all season. So things aren't all bad.
