We'll have played the best team in the League (on Paper) and the worst, hopefully, we will have a couple of new players too!
We should be beating teams like QPR relatively easily when they are in disarray, they lost five nil to Oxford the week before losing four nil to Watford!
Is there something going on at Loftus Rd I think QPR are the only side starting with two away fixtures and also they’re playing their home League Cup tie against Norwich next week rather than this. Stadium alterations maybe, although there’s little room for any development there.
should be an acid test - however, knowing us we will mess it up
Shades of everyone saying we'd turn over a Reading side who had been plundered in the offseason and had lost their first game after we started well against Norwich last year. One game and friendlies is way too early to be making any judgement on any team in this division.
Ainsworth must be close for the first to get the axe in the champioship. He may have got his marching orders already if it wasn't for his club legend status.
They still seem to be in free fall from last season.
Backs against the wall vs Leeds was fine and neccessary but we need to put up a proper postive attacking performance for the full 90 in this game. (Or full 100 is more likely this season)
I don't think you can properly judge until after 10/12 games.
I think Christmas might be a better time to make a judgement
Subjective, I think they were the favorites to win the League, we've probably edged them out now and moved up the betting predicted finish in the process.
I think they are the best team in the League, the Manager has been promoted from this league twice and won promotion twice more in Germany, but that's just my view.
whatever the result against QPR there will be an overreaction
I don't see how we should be beating anyone in this league easily.
I would like a six niller though I feel we owe them that.
