Was never ending up here of course but was hoping we wouldn't be facing him.

Fair play to him though. Clearly wanted a move to England, did great here on loan when others upfront for us have failed spectacularly, got his name out there. Will probably get his move.

Not at all, although that's probably more because he's barely played for them than because he was rubbish when he did.
30 appearances for Alanyaspor last season. They avoided relegation by 1 point and conceded the most goals in the division.

Goalkeeper is pretty close too, think they've identified who they want and it's just running behind because the club need a replacement.

I've had a look into Runarsson a few times over past couple of weeks. When initially told name, googled him to find him being called Arsenal's worst ever signing. Most of this stems from the cup game he played for Arsenal against Man City and chucked a goal in (and was debatably at fault for another). However, he also made some really good saves in that game. I also had a look at some of his recent performances for loan clubs and again they were relatively positive.

He looks very calm with his feet and seems a decent stopper generally. He plays really high off his line (so might be a few hearts in mouth moments) and described himself as a Sweeper Keeper! Perfect English.

He's been the top goalkeeping target all summer apparently, but the last I heard of it was about 10 days or so ago, when I made those 'running' comments above. The fact it's now gone more mainstream and in the Telegraph, you'd presume was imminent.

Siopis would be a good upgrade on our current defensive midfield options - Bulut has already signed him previously so seems like a possibility. I'd be very happy if he came.
