Come on Lardy, it’s been blatantly obvious for years that transfer deadline day is a conspiracy between the Premier League, the EFL, the Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, every other league in Europe and beyond, and Sky Sports.
It’s all about the viewing figures for Sky Sports News. Nothing more, nothing less.
My friends son also signed for Burton Albion a few seasons ago I knew about it about 6 weeks before Burton Albion announced it as JFH asked him to join him. How does that work then as he told me not to say anything?
Negotiated weeks before, but could have gone wrong at any time if another club had offered more, or Burton found a better or cheaper player.
Look at Moore we negotiated for weeks, at the last minute they sell him to Millwall that's football. (apparently but now people are saying he hasn't) anyway, you get the point it's not done till it's done.
Moore to Millwall? Not in to that at all
Not going to Millwall apparently https://twitter.com/RichCawleySLP/st...96570106405125
The concept that most deals are done weeks in advance of deadline day but not announced until the last minute so the teams that sign the players just don't get the benefit of those players playing for them for those weeks is one of the stranger things I've heard in a while, I have to admit.
Be like dropping a bunch of money on a 3 year lease for a Maserati and them telling you they can deliver it next week and saying "actually, just deliver it in a couple of months, wasn't planning to use it anyway". Bizarre.
