Quite right but on the sort of performances we've seen over the last 4 games they're talking out of their aspadistras.

What is really encouraging is we are showing signs of improvement with each passing game . We played some lovely football at times tonight and it was very enjoyable to watch against what I thought was a decent Coventry side.
This was without Ramsey and probably our best player last season in O Dowda . We have some options now from the bench
We still need that line leading striker but we are scoring goals.
Siopsis was excellent, his work rate , especially after Saturday, was amazing and he’s always available for a pass and has a very good first touch which gives him time on the ball
In the 94th minute he closed down the last defender, then the keeper, then sprinted back into a deep midi field position. He has great stamina, and he’s so quick and tidy on the ball. Him and Ramsey could be playing in the premier league.
I thought Grant was man of the match, he’s getting more confident every game. But Collins, Ng or Siopis could make a claim for it.
Best Ng has played all season. Siopis just gets better and better. Thought we were really good, really pleased for Grant and Etete. Think Grant could really kick on now. Hope we’ve got an option, I’m a fan.
Small concern, so many sloppy goals. Hell of a save from Alnwick too. We need to cut that out, and if we do the rest of the league is on notice.

Not at all. Who can stump up £50+ for 2 games close together unless you have a ST? That’s if you go on your own. Totally unrealistic to expect another good crowd tonight.

Three observations;
Firstly, the decision by Bulut to go almost 4-2-4 for the last 15 minutes was a brave and exciting one. The last City manager who would have done something so bold was Jimmy Andrews in the 70's.
Secondly, it would be easy to underestimate how bad a game Ugbo had. The amount of quality balls, goalscoring assists that we played during the 1st 60 minutes were numerous. He never found himself in space or got the wrong side of his marker. It was almost as if he was marking the centre half! Maybe I'm not giving the Coventry centre halves enough credit.
I don't want to criticise a player too much after a good win, but I do think we are a quality striker away from mounting a promotion challenge. Promotion winning teams have great strikers. We should have been two or three goals up much earlier in the match.
I didn't agree with the choice of three defensive midfielders, but it worked and I presume it was to give us a bit of bite when the fear was that we may have been a bit heavy legged after the Derby. I can't help thinking, though, it was a game in which Colwill would have excelled in the Ramsay role.
All in all Bulut is doing a top job and to be where we are and playing in the style we are, given the dross of last season and the transfer ban is a credit to those involved. Good management.

I am always harsh with Keepers, A fantastic save was worth a goal that one, but at the same time their second was soft it was close to his right arm at a nice height, even the first, I think Runner might have saved, I think Runner might be in goal on Sunday.
I might be being harsh because I know we have two good keepers, Let's see what happens again on Sunday and how whoever is in does.
They played really well, just got a bit tired in the last ten minutes and after a late finish and probably not much sleep on Saturday after a monumental effort it's understandable.
Bulut has switched Goutas to right-sided center-half and he looked a lot more comfortable, he made some great tackles and it suited him much better, fair play to get a win against Coventry without Ramsey is a big improvement on last season, we look like a completely different team and they are so much more committed and the attacking play so much more enjoyable.

It was their player being left unmarked in the 6 yard box that was the reason for that goal. It was close to Alnwick's hand but almost from point blank range.
First half he had little to do. Second he was poor. Missed an obvious foul on Tanner just outside the box, booked Collins for not taking a throw in when we had a player on the floor in front of him, bottled a red towards the end. What does he have to do to have a bad game?
I'm a huge fan. He was my MOM last night. There was one passage of play when he won the ball, gave it to one of our players who lost it. He got it back and gave it one of our players who lost it again. Then he got it back again. He's everywhere. He even wins a lot of balls in the air despite being small, largely because he has a knack of being in the right place at the right time.
