Having a pint socially, in good company, is a treasured thing that seems to be, sadly, slipping away. There's a young couple [30's] across the road from me. Since COVID he and his wife both work from home. Tesco delivers their food etc, and the occasional Deliveroo for 'special occasions'. Mid morning he pops down the road and brings back two coffees. That's it. They barely go anywhere, and it's the same for a growing majority of young people. My wife and I are in our local twice a week with friends and it's the best therapy you can have.
