Having a lunchtime pint with ex colleagues where total years lived is over 500 and the main topics of conversation are probate, prostate, carers, hearing aids, excessive travel insurance, waiting lists and who is still capable of standing for 90+ minutes at a match. That and having confused conversations about whose round it is along the lines of "my round....you bought them last week....I wasn't here last week....yes you were...that was two weeks ago....no, you were here last week....was I?"
One advantage is getting to watch ‘new’ tv series. We watched the first couple of series of Death in Paradise recently, seen them before, couldn’t remember a thing. Started watching the new series of Vigil and realised that there was a previous series. Catch up told us we’d watched every episode, which we obviously had, not a clue. Watched it again as if it’d just came outBrilliant that we’ve got loads of new tv to watch….. Z Cars, Mrs Thursday, The Avengers, Dixon of Dock Green….the list in endless
