Just given Sheffield Wednesday the lead over Birmingham, it was the type of close range striker’s goal he scored a few times for us.
Of course he did.
Good luck to him tbf.
He could do a job for us.
He’s a good goal scorer, he would still make our bench surely.
Shows on sky app he’s playing wide right? Is that correct?
Our strikers have been asked to play the lone target man role for years now. Ugbo is not that type of striker, but very few of the ones we've played in that role have been as well.
I liked him and thought he would do well as a front 2.
Both his goals came from players getting to the bye-line and cutting back/crossing the ball.A trait that we don't possess seemingly.
Two more for Ugbo so far today. Maybe he wasn't the problem when it came to our goal scoring
9 so far this season including 5 in the last 3 and a half games
Both his goals came from a right footed winger crossing from the right byline…
No goals yet for Ugbo, but Ampadu’s just been booked for a foul on him and he hit a beautifully weighted through ball of a type you don’t see city play to set up a chance which was wasted. Ugbo’s playing the same sort of lone striker role he played for us, but the game looks easier for him tonight (and he’s up against good opposition) than it ever did with City. Don’t ask me to fully explain why, but playing centre forward for Cardiff City seems a lot harder than it does at other clubs (after all, plenty have tried and failed haven’t they).
Leeds just gone into an undeserved 1-0 lead through Bamford.
