If the club said to Nathan Jones how much do you need to replicate what you did at Luton? Would the figure really be an unrealistic one considering the amount of money the club has wasted over the past few seasons?
So why don't we?
Bit difficult as he is now the Charlton manager
How about repeating the question for Steve Cooper?
Yeah jones just an example. Same applies to a few different people. Bulut was gamble that has failed. Players like siopsis are his and not up to it. He doesn't seem to know what a good championship player is. Why not try and get someone who at least has a track record of doing well somewhere recently in this league?
Any manager is going to need at least £10M to start. We need to build the backbone of a solid team. We need to buy young, quality players and sign them to 3 year contracts. We've been relying far too much on loans.
Nathan Jones is hardly the messiah
Well we have been under an embargo and obviously January isn’t the time to be spending decent money. Our fan base doesn’t do “time” buying for the future, they would be written off within hours, probably why Bulut has kept the two lads on the bench today. Even 10m, your buying risks, any proven young player will be tracked by everyone. How much did Scott cost Bournemouth?
Steve Cooper… bring him in now…
