I don't think most of us would require legal advice to help us declare which house was our main residence would we, assuming we had more than one of course!

You are right folk have had enough nothing sticks , still think that event in Durham cut accross the law , was not a work event, folk were drinking / partying , and out of kilter with the law , perhaps the elected Labour police commissioner was in the room with Angela and Sir Kier had knowledge he was on safe ground .. hence his boldness ??
Lets be honest if that cury was a a Tory event the outcome would have been diffrencet..
Its called hypocrisy and esske through politics ..
What will stick is the fact Angela is rich and feels she can employ tax evasion whilst stating she is at one with the working class , she is a lucky bunny who got a ride on a union ticket , was a gobby union person , married a union leader, got even more gobby , someone then tapped on the shoulder and said hey be a Labour MP , elected by slagging folk off calling out fat , greedy tax evading Tories , look at us us poor single mums we have been destroyed by the Tories , its all their fault I had so many homes , ""tax is ard for us init "" lol ..
Not a nice lady , more to come maybe in book form ?

Usually - if they are smart enough politicians leave enough wriggle room to excuse their way out of a situation. Never confirm absolutely, employ an accountant to blame etc.
However in Angela's case she is a bit thick and seemingly hasn't done this. There are social media posts and images that totally contradict her version of events. And this time the usual response of shouting and calling someone you disagree with 'scum' isn't going to work.
On top of all is - she used Thatcher's right to buy idea - to purchase the house. Something which I believe she has actively campaigned against, no different to Dianne Abbott opposing private education - until she sent her (convict) son to one.
At the moment Angie is being left to wither on the vine of her socialist 'morals'. There is one thing we have seen she isn't - and that is a socialist. Somebody somewhere has a lot of info on her - and is releasing it bit by bit. And every time she has to dis prove that allegation - which she does - and then more info is released that proves otherwise.
O a personal level for her - it must be horrible - but nothing she hasn't dished out - so maybe a lesson will be learned ?
Just watched the BBC news on this story. It's unbelievable how differently they report it versus Tory allegations. I can't quite believe it 😂
Is that the BBC whose 2 heads recently were an ex Conservative party member and donor to the party ?
And who previous political editor was the tory voting nick Robinson?
I still can't quite believe you are still pedalling this cobblers
The BBC was right up the government's arse during the miners strike
It tends to sway and always has
You are a biased tory boy
It's laughable that you think any of us believe anything otherwise
You must think we have come down in the last shower of rain ☔
Do you believe what you type ? because if you do you are only kidding yourself
You talk about bias but in all the years this site has been going you are the most one eyed tory there has been
You pretend to be nuanced but it's bollocks
You vote Tory, you defend the tories and always will
Tell me you know we have all sussed you out ?
It's obvious even to you , isn't it ?
Do you know anyone that works for the bbc? Maybe ask them what the general consensus is re left or right
Good job you and Mr Wales have GB News to rely on then isnt it - for the time being.
If Angela Raynor has done anything wrong, she should go, but there’s an awful lot of double standards involved in the way some expect Labour and Retort MPs to behave - this would have been small beer and forgotten about it if it was a Conservative involved.
You didn't see the story did you? Which is why you are mentioning GB news for some weird reflective reason.
There is nothing wrong with wanting the BBC to report things properly and factually. I watch the news every day pretty much and have never mentioned it before, so perhaps it is valid to criticise last nights story?
There is also nothing wrong in holding a prominent politician to account, is there? You spend a lot of your free time doing it, although curiously only when it happens to be from a party you don't vote for. What a hero!
The desperation by the Tory’s is absolutely delightful. They’re terrified. If this is the best they’ve got then, bring it on. Smoke and mirrors to take the stories away from dirty Wragg and his dirty mates.
This whole Angela Rayner issue is simple. If found guilty of breaking the law she should either walk or get binned.
Some on here said the same about Boris Johnson.
Some on here said that Johnson actually breaking the law was not really an issue and the general public weren't that interested whether he did or not. These people are now frothing at the mouth about Rayner.
Ooh get you . I’m really on the naughty step aren’t I.
You missed the bit in one of my earlier posts in this thread where I said Angela Raynor should go if she’s done something wrong I take it. It was the post where I talked about how some seem to expect higher moral standards from Labour politicians compared to Conservative ones - it’s as if they’re more forgiving of Tory politicians behaving in a corrupt fashion because it’s what you’d expect from them. You were defending the use of our money to pay for a Tory Minister’s libel costs a few weeks back, now you’re whingeing at the BBC for their coverage of this episode with Raynor which is over a figure that is about twenty times less than the one involving Michelle Donelan.
You are always on my naughty step Bob!
No, not at all. But the BBC report was really bad. It didn't stick to the facts and dwelled on speculation. Thats not what we want from the BBC. Newsnight did a much better job.
People are allowed to say that without droll references to GB News, which I must say does seem to have replaced The Sun on the left-wingers argument bingo card in the last year or two.
Saying she should go if she's done something wrong, isn't that honourable a position really - pretty standard. It's more how the standards you hold some to seem to be less enthusiastically applied in other cases.
I'll put some milk on the step for you Sludge, Jon, AZ and Citizens Nephew at 11am.
Where's the double standards? That's precedent. Civil servants, those in the public sector, politicians etc don't pay out of their own pockets for their mistakes.
As said numerous times. If a doctor makes an error, it's not him paying the compensation.
Cause it rankles, but that's the way it is and you know deep down it's the way it has to be.
You cant have politicians being personally sued all the time.
Yes we can and we should
The problem is that you flip all the time on this matter and others depending on wetger the Tories or Labour are involved
It's not really a problem it's pathetic and infantile really and as always you just won't admit you are wrong
It's your kids I feel sorry for
Donelan is a Christian, clearly a utterly incompetent minister who has cost the country 35 k and her husband makes millions through government procurement contracts
Nothing to see here , move along
Whilst Angela rayner is a clown and needs to be sent to the knackers yard jameswales thinks the BBC is full of lefties
Is that a snake I see slithering in the grass ?
