Sir Keir Starmer sacked her for sharing an article containing an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory (as did Jezza Corbyn and others in Labour). She responded by saying she had not meant to endorse all aspects of the article.
Don't know about the specifics but I actually always thought she came across fairly well and seemed a nice person, unlike many on the left (and right) which often seem very unpleasant. She comes across as nicer than Angela Rayner for example who seems a right arsehole to me
Corbyn , Abbot , Mcdonald and their acolytes are all about their ego and in my opinion rant and rave just to get on the telly
Long Bailey cut her own throat by hitching up to that lot

Was it really an antisemitic conspiracy theory? The Maxine Peake interview in the Independent that Long-Bailey retweeted referred to US police forces being trained in Israel and/or by the Israeli military - specifically around restraint techniques - based on their practice on the West Bank. That was true.
The Independent, Peake and Long-Bailey all retracted the specific allegation that kneeling on the neck (as with George Floyd) was promoted as part of the training. But sections of the Israeli media (and Israeli human rights organisations) did claim that - and never retracted.
Starmer wanted any excuse to kick her out of the shadow cabinet. She gave him that excuse.
More of a problem for her reputation was her history as a corporate lawyer working on PFI deals!

What are her policies? Why not state the fact she has won and been elected? Why tie it to something she has no control over?
I'm glad she was elected. Her skin colour is part of her history but has zero bearing over who governs our schools, hospitals, roads, economies etc

Those terms are offensive to some but I think it's fair to say that Patel and Braverman are not really winning the war of words on immigration with their right wing cabal given their background
They can think what they want but then if they openly enthuse anti immigrant rhetoric I really don't think they can cry wolf
