One snow shower when I was driving from Grangetown to Rumney
I feel for you.
Mine got damaged a couple of years ago, but could only be patched up as I was nursing a broken kneecap, so it had to wait.
Then some 'kind' people decided to help rip it down before I had the stuff to repair it, so I tied it up, replaced what was salvageable - and the bastards cut the rope and ripped it down again!
So I had to replace the whole lot.
Mine's not looking so bad now - I can't see much of it for the layer of snow that came down in the last 2 hours (as not predicted by the BBC Weather service!). If I'm lucky - once the snow has gone - it may only be 3 posts and 2 panels to replace. Oh yes, and the gales are back (50+ mph gusts).
I'm on flood watch. Front door 100 yards from tidal Trent. Fingers crossed.
It's a good job the snow in Wales wasn't too bad because it seems our snow gritters were busy on the M62
