Thread: Boris Johnson

    Boris Johnson

Seems as though the idiot has unwittingly condemned a British mother to 5 years in an Iranian jail.
Poor woman, likely to miss the majority of her children growing up too.

If that does manifest itself then surely there would be no way back for Boris?

    Re: Boris Johnson

Hopefully it does get sorted out.
If she gets a longer sentence due to his incompetence then he should lose his job imo.

    24 hours or Christmas?

    Re: Boris Johnson

Surprise surprise, Boris is talking to the Commons and not accepting that he was wrong - only that his remarks could have been clearer.

    Re: Boris Johnson

Emily Thornberry smashed him to pieces.
Impressed with her in that performance 👏👏

I'm not sure whether it has just been how I've been watching the news, the pot luck of what I've seen, but there seems to be just be complete chaos in government at the moment.

Every other news story is something ridiculous.

Some have said on twitter there is just a vacuum at number 10 currently.

I think the L Word is justified and accurate in this case - literally incredible.

We need a cross party group to be formed to manage a successful Brexit - now - as 'this lot' are evidently not up to the job, are losing time, are clueless and deluged with distractions of their own making.
They are imploding at a time when we need the strength they so clearly lied about possessing.

The PM is a Liveryman from the Worshipful Company of Marketors, so I am guessing that everything is going according to plan?

Care to put some meat on those bones?

    Re: Boris Johnson

In a word Brexit and Cameron have brought them to this
If they hadn’t had that stupid referendum then they’d have been reaping benefits of improved economy and I dare say they’d have an increased majority in the 2020 election as 2017 wasn’t planned.
Gideon would have been PM with a 100
    Seat majority .
But they thought that the EU was the be all and end ****ing all.
Thus where we find ourselves today ....

    Re: Boris Johnson

An hour of waffling from him and when he does “apologise” it’s because his words may have been misconstrued and taken out of context.
How long is this man going to be allowed to continue to treat the general public like idiots?

His time will come. He's protected due to his connections, but he will eventually render his position untenable.
'Saved' by Priti Patel's misdemeanours on this occasion?
I doubt the Govt will sack two bigwigs at once.

It was the everything is going according to plan part I was seeking clarification on.

It's a case of keeping one's enemies close methinks.

Politician becomes a mason in the City of London in 1999 at the precise moment they join the Tory cabinet, where they have remained ever since. I'll leave the rest for you to work out

What does being a Freeman of the Marketor Livery Company of the City of London (one of 110 including plumbers and cooks) got to do with the Freemasons, a completely different institution?
