So you wouldn't applaud Ramsey or Whittingham for the same reason yes?

They are both Cardiff City legends. Whats Cheds connection with the club?

No connection with the club, just a connection with idiots who somehow think he's been hard done by.

It really was the most bizarre reaction.

Ched Evans was, at best, a mediocre striker in his day, his championship record isn’t even 1 in 4, he scored 1 in 13 for Wales. Whilst not guilty of rape, his actions that night were hardly worthy of applause. Add to that the fact that whenever he’s played against us previously, most notably when equalising for Sheffield United many years ago (one of his few championship goals) he certainly didn’t seem complementary towards us.

He's Welsh, so flipping what! He’s done nothing for his country, played no role in our recent success and thankfully is never likely to because he’s a useless footballer who isn’t fit to lace Simon Church’s boots let along Vokes, HRK, Ben Woodburn etc.

Many of our fans have had a thing about Evans for years, I’m fairly sure it dates back to his screamer for Norwich against us and the belief that, from that one moment alone, he’d be a good player for us to have signed. Well thankfully we didn’t, not because of the situation he got himself in to that night, but because he’s not a championship standard striker for a team with any level of ambition at this level. I’m not sure what was more odd, the applause last night or the fact that Sheffield United signed him.
