Boris had been ventilated as was reported , it makes you wonder why he actually broke the rules that were brought in to protect him
if you look over a pretty short time period you can make it seem as though the UK economy is outperforming the major EU nations, but it isn't the case.
while all nations have taken a hit from COVID, and Ukraine, the UK has been affected more than comparative EU countries, over a short time period they have recovered more than some of the EU nations because they fell a lot more.
if you look at the whole picture since Brexit then we certainly aren't outperforming the other major EU nations
Like being knocked into a 6 foot hole, getting onto your knees and suggesting you have ‘grown’ more than people walking around above you.
What is so weird about some of you, is that you spread misinformation to slag off your own country. It's just so weird. It's one thing to criticise the country using truth but to misrepresent things to do it. Why bother doing that?
It's like Cardiff City winning 1-0, Swansea losing 1-0 and you telling everyone in the pub that we are so much worse than them.

It's not bullshit. It's the truth. You are just as well off arguing that Inter Milan won the champions league on Saturday evening.
Your arguments would be a lot stronnger if you acknowledged the truth right in front of you sometimes instead of doubling down on something untrue.
You are still allowed to be a Labour voter. Accepting some facts that you don't like doesn't mean that has to change or anything.
It's the truth Sludge.
You are the only one arguing against the truth here.
I posted this in another thread, but it applies just as much here.
"You can just imagine some of the Tories on here casting about desperately every morning trying to find some evidence from abroad that they can attempt to cast the UK in a good light by comparison.
All anyone needs to do is look at stories like these to get a true idea as to why but what about the Germans, what about the Italians etc etc stuff should be treated with derision.

NB The body of the last two stories are behind a pay wall, but the headlines make the point I wanted to make."
I copied and pasted the message from the thread, maybe that’s why they didn’t work - they all do in the thread, here’s a link to it.
