I'm not sure I agree on your last point

We played a left back and a right back at centre half, wingers at wing back, a League One CM with a bloke that couldn't get in a League One side, with a Championship winger, plus Roberts and Moore. They've got established PL players. They're not very good, granted but they should do an awful lot better. Mick proved that.

Mate, trying to imply Ireland have a good pool of players to pick from, better than Wales, is utter ****ing bollocks

I didn't say that, I said the team Wales picked on Saturday was worse than the one Ireland put out. We have much better players than Ireland.

That was the B team and they still managed to beat a side ranked 9th in the world

Just because I'm bored I thought I'd compare the two line ups from our reserves vs mexico and Ireland vs Luxembourg:

    GK : Hennesey Vs Bazunu
    Wales are better

DF : Gunter, Cabango, Norrington-Davies vs Coleman, O'Shea, Clark
    Ireland are better

MF: Williams, Levitt, Smith, Lawrence vs Doherty, Knight, Cullen, Stevens
    Ireland better

FW Roberts, Matondo, Moore vs Browne, Collins, Robinson
    Wales possibly shade that

Altogether they are fairly similar in quality, perhaps even Ireland are slightly stronger , but that is our 2nd XI and I don't think Ireland have too many better players to bring in to replace those.

Perhaps they dont but they should be doing an awful lot better than winless in 11, only scoring in 3 of them.

But that's my point. We found a way to win, and have a style that wins games. Ireland don't under Kenny but did under his previous managers.

That wasn't our strongest side on Saturday. It was very much a second string.

I looked at the Ireland squad the other day. It's as bad as I've seen it.

They used to have a few decent pl players and the rest made of good championship ones. This is very much average championship players with a few pl players on the down curve of their footballing career
