Thread: Newport win again

    Newport win again

Two good away wins in a row, they've won 5 away all season but only two at home. Still 7 points adrift though.

Seems like they can play a bit of football but the quagmire they play on every week suits the opposition.

    Poor English on my part.
"every week" read "every other week", referring to their home pitch which isn't in great condition and inferring that they are a good footballing side (pretty tongue in cheak) as they seem to be able to beat sides on their own better pitches.

    Hope this is more clear

I am afraid it's almost certainly a case of too little too late.
    Newport and Orient are doomed.

Newport winning at half time and currently out of the relegation zone. Incredible come back. I hope they can do it.

    Bugger!
Tough ask as Carlisle going for playoffs.
Not disastrous tho as long as Hartlepool don't score.

Its a strange situation. Hartlepool have to win next week or they are down. However if they do win then Newport have to win. The worry is that Doncaster have lost three in a row

At least Doncaster still have the league 2 title to play for whereas Notts County who play Newport have nothing riding on it. Think I'd rather be in Newport's situation.

Yes thats important and if Doncaster better Plymouth's result they will be champions so they will go all out for the win knowing that if Plymouth don't win they will win the League

Think whoever drops into the National league will find it really tough to get back. Some really big guns in there these days.

Just look at how hard its been for Wrexham. York just relegated to the sixth tier. Torquay struggling.
Its a proper fifth division these days which in one way is good but as you say it makes it that much harder to get out of.
I really hope Newport do it. Even if they don't Mike Flynn deserves to stay in the job.
