Born and brought up in Cardiff, played for the City, just happened to end up managing Swansea Town.
I went to school with him.
Played for them too (as player manager I believe).
Was stood on the bob bank in the 80's when we played them - Toshack scored, we won, and the Jacks managed to rip down some fencing between them in the grange end and us on the bob bank, ran towards us then ran away again
He wanted to come back to Cardiff as player manager but the club said no, which in hindsight was a bad decision. He also scored 100 goals for us before his 21st birthday. He's our 8th highest all time goalscorer, and he did that from 17-20. That's some achievement.
And who said that football fans are narrow-minded? Tosh brought a great deal of magic to the team.
