    Then you don't keep all your money in a 0.1% account.

    But you are being clever. Each pound will buy you less each year. But despite that, you're teaching those bankers a lesson they won't forget. Well done.

    Out of idle curiosity, what savings account or fixed term bond is it that you can't resist risking getting a return on?
