It would be far better to build alongside the M4 and have access from the motorway to serve an expanding Cardiff for years to come. Llandough serves the Vale and is not at all ideally placed. Junction 33 and 32 offer the best options in my opinion. Then do something with the original CRI to serve the south of Cardiff.
I don't think it is terrible, yes there is an impact on the nearby areas, but the same would be true wherever you put it.


It's on the A48 and the A470, the 2 main arterial roads into Cardiff, and is slap bang in the centre of the city.

You can get there from Culverhouse cross, Gwaelod Y Garth, Marshfield, or Cardiff Bay within 20 minutes
