They were barely of League 2 standard (see where they were before and where they are now) and his "friend" is a disgraced struck off former football agent who was involved in the tragic deal for Emiliano Sala in breach of FIFA and UEFA rules (which NW would have been aware of).

Plus recruited a player on an unusually long contract for big wages compared to what he was on at his previous club and gave a big pay increase to another player.
