Brexit is going to be the most painful decision ever taken in my opinion. The fact that the Government still seems in conflict with itself is not a good sign.

I think 5 years of a real shit period is optimistic. I reckon 'more like 10.

The fact that Her Majesty's opposition flip flop on their stance every other week doesn't help either.

I don't think the initial shock will be as bad as some are predicting, bit we'll just see slightly lower growth year on year Vs the rest of Europe. Not that noticeable initially but suddenly 20 years have passed and the difference is massive

The Government still don't really know what brexit means, I think the uncertainty is worse than anything. Why hold a referendum without even knowing what it really meant. What were we actually even voting for?!

Since we are getting political, I would just like to congratulate George Osborne and austerity Britain on another fine result. The fella desrverves a knighthood for all his hard work. It was very astute of him to realise that taking money out of people's pockets would have a huge impact on retail.

Nothing to do with the internet and Amazon and online shopping at all then.

Osborne obviously fecked up the USA at the same time as well.

The internet and Amazon made people homeless, and put less money in people's pockets?

America is booming because of the person they voted into power, so I think it's fair to say that it's the Conservatives have fecked up Britain.

Why do I have to be a fanboy to notice how America are creating lots of jobs, boosting their economy, renegotiating international trade deals, and turning their back on globalist policies, etc.. If you haven't already noticed, they are in the similar position to Britain, as they are in the process of redefining themselves. Angela Merkel and the EU are getting very worried, the world is being reshaped, yet we are still hanging onto the EU's coat-tails. It's time to break free and join the "new" new world order. The existing EU is going to crash and burn.

If the USA is booming then why are they shutting down lots of shopping malls over there?

    Osborne?

Surely, by logic, store and Malls would be opening across the USA as it is booming. 10,000 stores to close 2017/2018 Why could that possibly be?

Still blaming George Osborne for that?

Surely, the good folk of the USA have far more money in their pocket to spend with the US economy booming? Shops should be opening everywhere.

    Surely?
