The turnout in the Police Commissioner elections is always very low, so if the 20mph protestors wanted to make a point, it shouldn't be that hard to get Michael voted out. There will be candidates sponsored by the other parties, but it would make more sense if the protestors concentrated on one of them, rather than spreading their protest across the whole field, and letting Michael back in by default.
Considering the guy has been in Welsh politics for over thirty years, it's notable how little he has achieved. He's just coasting along, doing very little, and earning a decent wake for it. Whenever I see him on tv, what really comes across is his contempt for the general public. I'm sure that's not really the case, but it sure looks like it. Get rid of him.

It’s 52 years. He was elected to Cardiff Council in 1972. Just like his fellow grifters and champagne socialists Lee Waters and Vaughan Gething he lives in a massive house in Penarth.

In Alun’s case it is literally massive, a gigantic Victorian pile worth about £2 million. Who said crime doesn’t pay?
