    That's the eternal downside of large swathes of football fans from any club. Football gives them an excuse to take their tribal side past the point where they can be rational. Case in point, the way Derby fans turned on us after snowgate. Not because they had an argument, but because they wanted the argument to work in favour of their tribe.

    On Snodgrass. I'm kind of going off the idea of the transfer. I wouldn't want a permanent transfer for a 31 year old winger who would no doubt be our highest earner. A one year loan could be a successful move, but I'd rather us bring in players under 29 at least.

    I'd be very surprised if any deal we did with West Ham involved a permanent signing.
