If you fancy a rest from all the stunning modernity in Singapore have a walk around Little India. Largely devoid of tourists but all the more interesting for it.

I was gently set upon by a passing priest and given a bindi in one of the temples. Lovely experience.

Yeh, went there. The only place in Singapore I saw litter, as in the name it is completely like going to a different country and a good cultural experience, wife was most uncomfortable there.

I'm not a fan of Little India. It's crowded so not really much respite from tourists and Singapore's architecture is interesting enough to not go searching.

I was only there for one afternoon/evening and it was very quiet indeed regarding tourists. Hardly saw any, in fact. Must have been lucky.
