Don’t get me wrong I love Tomlin as a player. Always have since he signed. But I’ve not seen him have a good first half for a long time. He comes into his own for me in the last 20 mins. Someone playing a little deeper in a 3 rather than just off the striker would suit us better and give the back 4 more protection.

Ian Dowie on Sky said the same and that the sending off was harsh. Suggested that the ref had made some poor decisions so perhaps an appeal against the red!
