Don't think he's ever had a problem playing away. Just not too far from home admittedly.

Giggs is Welsh, and one of the most decorated footballers in World footbal, we should be proud of him.

Yet, because he didn't turn out in a few friendlies, and meaningless dead rubber games for Wales, some small minded people accuse him of not being a passionate Welshman.

meanwhile Ashley who was born in England is quite happy to be involved in friendlies. (what does that say)

It says that players are more powerful than managers these days, and Williams is an egotistical kunt.

Yet strangely every other Man Utd player from that era turned out for their country.

Face it, Giggs is a shithouse and only cares about himself.

    Just ask his brother.

Can you imagine when he finally gets a job as a coach and leaves training an hour early and jumps in his car.
All the players looking at each other , thinking where the **** has that **** gone

Why is it you feel the need to be disrespectful to one of Wales greatest ever footballers?
Yet you drool over an arsehole like Bishop?
    Strange

you are right, but when the fans stumped up the money and travelled around the world to support the team ( we expected the best team available ) and he did not turn up, then was fit for Utd, it was just wrong

it used to pss me of no end

You obviously count Bishops transgressions worse than Giggs .
Both Bish and Giggs were great sportsmen
Neither have very good moral compasses .
Would you be happy to leave your wife or daughter alone in Giggs company for a period of time ?

Nothing strange about it, England were qualifying for major tournaments, Wales weren't.

Maybe it would be better to speak to his sister in law, and get her version of events

That he was someone who just wanted any international football due to not being good enough for England?

Then again, it was a great headed pass to Vardy...

I'd leave him alone with them yeah, he's not a predator or a paedophile is he... he took an opportunity..even if it was wrong of him.
I'd rather leave them with giggs than someone who gets drunk and beats people up.

Slagging Giggs off for giving in to his sister in laws advances, yet happy to support our current Captain, as he works his way through the single mum trailer trash in Liverpool, (after exhausting his options in Town Hill and Skewen), while his long suffering Mrs stays at home running 'his' charity!

Maybe if the tosser had shown a bit more passion when pulling on the red shirt then we might have qualified. Compare his attitude to Wales with Bale's - one helped inspire a small nation to reach the semi finals of a major tournament, the other couldn't even inspire Huw Jenkins to give him a job at that car crash down the road.

Giggs is a tosser. I can't wait for him to get a management job and cock it up. He can stick to covering the country he really wanted to play for then.

Patriotism is all crap, but lack of respect to the people who pay to support the team you play for (whether Man U or Wales) is unforgivable.

His latest venture looks an odd one

    From bbc sport

Former Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs is set to sign a consultancy deal to become director of football at a Vietnamese football academy.

The Promotion Fund of Vietnamese Football Talents FC (PVF) said Giggs, 43, will be responsible for coaching players and training coaches.

The two-year deal involves 13-time Premier League winner Giggs making two trips per year to Vietnam.

Giggs said in October he was interested in jobs at Leicester City and Everton.

Leicester appointed Claude Puel as manager on 25 October but Everton have yet to announce a permanent replacement for Ronald Koeman, who was sacked as manager on 23 October.

Giggs was appointed caretaker boss at United after David Moyes was sacked in 2014, when he became assistant manager to Louis van Gaal.

However, he has not been involved in top-class football since Van Gaal's dismissal in May 2016.

Giggs will travel to Vietnam next week for an inauguration ceremony with former United team-mate Paul Scholes, a guest at the event.

A statement on the PVF website said Giggs' role included "building and developing PVF to become the leading youth football training centre in Vietnam".

Ryan Giggs made his Wales debut in 1991 and retired in 2007, 16 years as an international and he managed just 64 caps despite being the person who until recently held the record for most premier league appearances. In total he played 963 games for United.

Fact is the majority of that period Wales really needed Giggs to turn up, not only for his ability but for the message that it sent to the rest of the squad to ensure we had as strong a team out as possible, yet continually he let us down despite turning up for United. In the years 1994 - 1998 he made 11 Wales appearances, 11 in 5 years!! In the same period he played around 200 games for United.

Agreed, I just hope that job isn't with Wales because if Coleman were to leave the FAW would be falling over themselves to appoint him, thankfully I think the tosser has such a high opinion of himself that he'd see himself as above Wales.
