    Oh, were they. Can’t blame autocorrect for that one either -Airdrie were one of my favourite Scottish teams as a kid because of their kit. I didn’t realise that they were known as Airdrieonians again - I thought that name died with the original team.

    Yeah I know, I just typed Falkirk when I meant Airdrie for some reason.

    Didn’t City play at that ground on a Scottish pre season tour in Dave Jones’ first season? Don’t think they had stands behind both goals then.

    We were in a covered stand behind the goal for that friendly with a decent sized stand to our right. To our left was a row of trees along the touchline. Loovens was booed by the Falkirk fans, apparently he signed for us over them.
