Wurzels next three games are Fulham (H) then Newcastle and Villa both away. Followed by a "six pointer" against Burton then Norwich and another "six pointer" against Wigan (a).

    This could get interesting

Aston Villa's game against the Wurzels is going to be considered a '6-pointer' for Villa too. Win & they'll probably start to avert their freefall. Fail to win they're in trouble.

    Villa's last 8 has resulted in: 0 Wins, 1 Draw, 7 losses (1 point).

Blackburn have 2 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses from their last 8 (9 points).
Wigan have 3 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses (11 points).

I'd love to see Villa (and their £60m worth of new players) heading down with Bristol, and Wigan & Blackburn escaping.

The final table predictor in The Star yesterday had us finishing 12th and Brizzle relegated.

    I'll take that

I found a website that lets you predict the rest of the season's results and puts them into the table to see how it would end up

If each team continued their form from the last 6 games through to the end of the season the league would finish like this:

    1 Huddersfield 106
    2 Newcastle 102
    3 Brighton 94
    4 Sheff Wed 86
    5 Reading 84
    6 Fulham 82
    7 Leeds 80
    8 Norwich 75
    9 Cardiff City 71
    10 Preston 69
    11 Derby 67
    12 Barnsley 66
    13 Burton 57
    14 Brentford 56
    15 Ipswich 56
    16 QPR 55
    17 Wolves 50
    18 Nottm Forest 49
    19 Birmingham 47
    20 Wurzels 45
    21 Blackburn 42
    22 Wigan Athletic 41
    23 Aston Villa 38
    24 Rotherham 19

    Fulham leading 0 - 1 at Ashton Gate (Piazon - 17th minute).

I can't think of any result from this match that would disappoint me. We are not going to trouble the top 6 so not too bothered if Fulham win (but I hope it is a hard game and they travel up and down the M4 lots) and Brizzle are hovering over the drop.

Will Total Football survive this barbarism?

    0 - 2 (Cairney 52mins)

There was a great comment on the BBC Live blog before half time:

'Lee Johnson is not looking particularly happy'

    The joy of understatement.

And Bristol 'Total Football' City lose again.

10th loss in 13 league games and a 13th loss in 17 league games.

    Lovely.

    Such a shame to see.

Next up for them is Newcastle and Villa away.

Followed by two home games against a resurgent Burton and play off chasing Norwich.

Hopefully that'll see them firmly camped in the bottom three.

    Happy days.
