    Making TV is all about following a formula that works, same as music and film. Why is a production company or channel going to take a risk on making a 'cult classic' when they can churn out a panel show that 4 times as many people will watch?

    Fair point, but I'd suggest that's less about PC than getting it 'wrong'.

    Yeah definitely I agree, monotonous comedy on TV hasn't got much to do with 'PC' at all.
