    Re: North Korea Summit

NK have never had the range on their nukes to nuke the feck out of us.

How anyone can be happy with the president of a first world country cosying up to a despot who kills his own citizens either via starvation of using anti aircraft guns in front of a live audience must be an idiot or a lunatic or both.

And 2 days ago he was calling Canada their enemy, it really is beyond belief.

And does anyone actually believe that NK are actually going to stop now?

And why when Obama talked about trying to reach out to NK was it shouted down immediately by every right wing news outlet yet they were supportive of trump?

The whole political debate has lost meaning because of people like wales-bales, they don’t listen to the other side they just shut it down by posting weird paragraphs like that one above and continue living in a bubble without realising what’s actually going on. It’s pretty terrifying.

There’s no discourse any more, and confidently the brexit debate is exactly the same. Any attempt to discuss the negotiations or that every current plan is predicted to hurt the economy is shouted down by “just leave already”

Iran will be next to experience the world peace treatment. War mongers everywhere are distraught, as this period was supposed to be Hillary's WW3!

Having read recent contributions to the Iran thread, are they now globalists and, assuming they are, when did this happen?

I 'd put strong bet on Iran's money washing around many countries internationally ,thats why they get so pissy when bank accounts are frozen in the name of sanctions , its one of the many criticism aimed at the Iranian government by its long suffering people hit by poverty , its government spends astonishing amounts of money on militarily expenditure in Iran and in other countries , and falls very short of healthcare , education and human rights .

Globalization : the process by which organizations develop international influence or start operating on an international scale.

What's up with John Kerry holding secret meetings with Iranians in Paris and elsewhere? And who can forget the previous president sending them pallets of cash containing over a billion dollars.

Well, they seem to be plotting with the Democrats, so maybe they are!

What's your evidence base for this one?

It's incredible isn't it, the number of sweeping generalisations and accusations made without any evidence being produced in response to something I posted as a joke says so much - we've had about five years of this on here now and it's still the same old "just you wait and see what's going to happen soon" stuff we were hearing before Trump became President.

The former secretary of state having off the record discussions in Paris? What was your evidence base for the Steele Dossier?

Stop being a kent cyril. When I said that Iran and the US were talking about scheduling a meeting for peace talks. Everybody has had their chances, and its up to them whether they take them or not. Kim was offered unification with South Korea and a western style economy. If he chooses to stay a vassal state of China, that up to him. As long as he doesn't go developing nukes everything will be fine. Ditto Iran, the overwhelming majority of normal citizens want rid of their despot religious fanatic leaders, so let's see what happens. Attacks on American citizens will only speed up this process. All things considered, I'm afraid I have to inform you that your TDS has pushed you over the edge, so please seek medical attention ASAP!

The last few days have been unbelievable, and they'll probably form their own chapter in history books of the future. America has turned its back on its closest allies, and in spectacular fashion with phrases like "a special place in hell" coming from an adviser to the president, and just one plane trip later it welcomes a nuclear armed authoritarian outcast and submits to them without asking for anything meaningful in return.

Could you imagine sabotaging the peace deal in Northern Ireland because you imagined that somebody could have had some vague thoughts about building a hotel there, so you insisted that the attrocities on the mainland must continue just in case on the off-chance the above might have been true.

I think you forgot to include your "this isn't a serious post" smiley.

I've noticed he gets more hysterical and defensive when trump is doing his bigger feckups. I think it's called doubling down.

Haha, this is the best thread ever, you have totally exposed yourself. You choose war over peace just because Donald Trump is involved.

Did they finally sign the peace treaty? I must have missed that.
