Naughton with an excellent goal on half time. Balls, they're safe.

If Hull beat Palace tomorrow there will be one point between three teams with one game to go. If Hull fail to win they are down (albeit it might have to wait to be confirmed if they draw as they are 7 goals worse off - as it stands)

Hull deserve to go down after last weeks 2-1 defeat at home to Sunderland who are abstract shite.

Sunderland were ****ing shocking in the first half. A little bit better now, but it's too late.

They were well up for it last week. Bastards.

    Just the way fixtures fell.
Last week away to a local rival with their hard core supporting them for a bit of pride. Also for the crucial goal.
Today a nothing game in front of an empty ground and those who were there were unhappy with the side and worse still when they went down.

    Luck of the draw.

    The wait goes on

Sunderland and Middlesbrough have been fecking useless. They deserve to go down. They have offered nothing. I hope they are shit next season as well. Hull have not been much better but their manager has injected some hope.

I hope Hull win tomorrow. Will make it a tense last day.

    Does Pulis hate the jacks?

I would love it if they went down on the last day.

    Re: Today's Premier League

I found out today for the first time that if a pelanty is accidentally hit with both feet (due to a slip), it's a free kick to the opposing team as opposed to just taking it again (which is what happens if the keeper cheats and jumps off his line prematurely).

Mahrez got unlucky, and the rule seems weighted in favour of the keeper.

    Wishful thinking unfortunately Mike.

To go down Hull have to beat Palace tomorrow and Spurs next week whilst West Brom beat the Jacks next week.
If they get a draw against West Brom then Palace have to get something at Old Trafford next week.

Really harsh decision by the ref. You'd be proper pissed off if it happened to you. I mean if refs are allowed to use interpretation for offside decisions, as he did it that very same game, surely he could have used a bit of common sense with this.

It's not an interpretation decision the rule is clear on this and the ref cannot change the rules regardless of how harsh it may seem.

F*ck Mahrez anyway. Downed tools under Rianieri along with a few others and can't have any sympathy for that back stabbing rat Shakespeare.

Oh come on, he could have given it and no one would have even noticed.

Did you not watch MOTD with Pep appealing for it?

He wasn't appealing for it, he was telling his assistants why it was disallowed.

The keeper had two fingers up straight away. Correct, and very very well spotted, decision.
