    Thanks. The van has a leisure battery but wouldn't batteries be the first place that thieves would check for trackers? There's loads of hidey-holes if I use a gizmo that doesn't use one of the batteries.

    no, i mean run the 12V power lead from the leisure battery

    cut the end of this, add it to the connection on the leisure battery ( so it doesnt stand out )

    If you were worried about someone tracing the cable, you could add one of these close to it so they thought it was heading to that

    Infact if you were that way inclined, you could even cut a hole behind that fake socket ( above ) and hide the lot behind that

    dont forget you need to use the phone every few months on a Pay as you go sim to keep it active, so you need to be able to get to the phone
