hes on now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
main points:
little money at the club
SOMEONE has spent his money unwisely
wants good value
leicster is his model
spent 3 million this season
sell player to bring someone else in
would sell club to reasonable offers - none so far
180 miliion spent on club already
That was pre-recorded but they built it up for about 90 minutes. After which he said nothing unexpected other than that he had problems with a previous manager - never heard that before.
Tan also said he is injecting money into the club monthly. In order to get his money back he hopes the club can stay in the Premier League for 3 years. Fat chance of that suggesting he is lumbered with the club for a very long time unless he is prepared to take a massive loss.
You have missed the points that he said Promotion was the best route to getting his money back and that after three seasons in the premiership that might happen.
Also that he likes NW
That he is excited by our start
That he realises how competitive the league is
That other clubs have spent more
That teamwork and belief are more important that £20m players.

I think the big question here is what did Tony & blue nun have for their lunch?
Anything about being debt free in.. What is it now? 3 years?
When he showed up for the Villa game, a lot of fans were getting excited because they thought he had fallen in love with the club again. "What does it mean?" was a question posted here, some hoped it meant he was giving Warnock more cash.
I actually agree with Tan on the way that football seems to be all about big transfer fees, when so much can be achieved simply by building a football club and having a long term vision. Sadly, he started off well (with TG) before indulging on an ego trip that was completely short term folly. It's a bit late in the day for soul searching, and he's still not acknowledging his part in the club's downfall. Just as he was "the man who made it all possible" for promotion, he is definitely not the man who made all the correct choices in that one PL season.
Talk of Cornelius, fine. What about the monstrosity that was built above the Bob Bank and is currently mothballed? How much did that cost?
To paraphrase another comment on here, tan needs to learn that in drawing attention to what happened previously he is also drawing attention to his errors of judgement.
Now we have had the best start ever and a real positive feeling around the club we don't really need him finding his voice again if it's all going to be about the past. We all know money is tight and we seem to be handling transfers better than for a long period.
