Bump, very good podcast indeed.
I thoroughly recommend it.
Its good. i recommend you download them all and binge listen. I had to wait some weeks for episodes to be uploaded and couldn't wait to hear them. Its addictive. They are going to make a new series too, think its been cloud funded

Missed some bits on first listen. I hope that the direction the information has directed you in is right in the end.

What are peoples thoughts on the case?
Personally, I think he's guilty.
Caveat: I'm only about 60/40 he did it mind.
It's so hard to tell, because for the most part his emotion doesn't change from being accepting and laid back.
The fact he can't remember what he did that day is either because he was stoned off his cake or because he murdered her.
Does Jay have involvement in the crime with someone else? And was threatened so blamed Adnan?
I think the whole podcast is biased towards his innocence, she really want's him to be innocent.
I think it's a bit of a stretch Jay was involved with someone else but he is minimising his involvement a bit I think. I do believe most of his story though.
The reporter places to much stock in "Adnan seems a really lovely guy". Like outwardly nice people haven't murdered people before.
Good podcast to pass a couple of hours though.

Finally got to the end of this podcast. Had opportunity to listen to it but wanted to make sure I was able to get all the information and salient points.
So now where do I go? I have never listened to a podcast before and have really enjoyed this. So could any of you kind souls point me in the direction of some interesting thought provoking podcasts? Got a few Ricky Gervais ones the other day and as funny as they are they struggle to inform me very much.

Kermode and Mayo is probably the best and most entertaining of the bunch.That's a cracking show. I listen to more podcasts than I do music these days while out and about.
The QI people do "Theres No Such Thing as a Fish" which is ok. Also listen to "The infinite Monkey Cage" which is a comedy/science thing with Brian Cox and James O'Brien "Mystery Hour" which is a bit like Guardian Notes and Queries.
Other than that recommend Johnny Vaughans "Warm Up" off Talksport and Frank Skinner show off Absolute Radio for simple entertainment.
You should be able to get historical episodes of all

I heard Richard Bacon talking about the "sequels" on the radio the other day and it reminded me to keep an eye out, was pleasantly surprised to see 8 episodes there already. Got them lined up for bed now.

Thanks Maccy Blue for starting this thread - Serial was recommended to me at Christmas by my niece who was raving about it at the time. I made a mental note to subscribe to the podcast and, of course, didn't, but I've just downloaded all twelve episodes on I Tunes after this reminder and will listen to one a day over the next fortnight or so.
