I actually questioned whether I could be bothered to watch on the TV earlier. I'll be watching more for the possibility of comments re. The low crowd, the rebrand, Tan's a prick etc rather than the football, pathetic I know.

Not at all. Have missed the odd cup game in the past but always felt guilty about it. After the last three home games I feel like I am going beyond the call of duty by watching it at home. Should have rested whitts, bombed out macheda and given the odd academy player a game. On the plus side it looks like he is trying a more sensible formation - shame the spearhead is an arrogant, lazy useless twonk!

Yes and no. Would love to be there, but can't.

The bar out here which advertised it can't get it on either.

Chose not to go once 20 years ago when we were really shit and no one wanted to go with me and felt like shit for weeks after. Won't do it again.

I am glad I watched it on TV - but have no regrets that I wasn't there: it was embarrassing enough from here. I have attended a few games with poor crowds/atmospheres but was there ever one as bad as that? I suppose 'distance' makes the past seem rosier.

That would've been a good crowd for quite a few years in the "good old days". Some want to return to such excitement.

A few of us couldn't go to the the game as we were away for the New Year we all thought we wouldn't miss it it but we did. We got to watch the game on TV and even though it was shit I'd rather have been there so at the moment I won't be boycotting
