Mind you, in my time there, we used to miss most of our side weekly as a high contingent played rugby for Lansdowne,two went on to become egg internationals. When we had everyone, we could best anyone including Chris Pike and his brother coached by their old man who used to keep them apart from the others and give them team talks in his car parked on the halfway line! Them were the days.

Any good 11 aside player could be just as stand out as someone who plays it all the time but the other way would look out of their depth. I think a league two player would be just as effective
