at what point will Carwyn and his boys take some action on this?

At what point will the Labour Party stop claiming only they will save the health service?

The Welsh NHS and the Stafforshire Health Trust shockingly suggest they are not.

When will any party sort out the nhs. When will any party take a firm stance on the nhs.

With an increasing waistline for the average britian it wont be long before overweight people vankrupt the nhs. We tax alcohol we tax smokers for the damage they do to their body, why doesnt a party tackle fatty britian. A tax on fastfood a tax on sugary drinks a tax on junk food. Use this to fund the nhs.

Probably at the point that the people of Wales stop blindly voting for the Labour party and start holding them to account more.

Generally speaking, people in Wales have this odd obsession with a party that has done little but keep Wales poor. I hope it changes, and soon, but I'm not sure if it will.

What I don't like is when the memory of this woman is cheapened by a poster who wishes to espouse his political viewpoint in some petty point scoring against people who also write on a football club's message board.

We have the ideal vehicle for raising dedicated monies for the NHS i.e.The National Lottery.
32 billion has been raised for good causes and there is no better cause than the Nations Health.
However far more could be raised than this. The Government grabs 12% in duties , add this to the 28% given back to good causes you already have 40% add the 5% given to Camelot for running it to make a profit and deduct the amount just to administer the Lottery in house , around 3%. You could also argue that the prize fund could be cut by say 5% to 45% You now have 47% of revenue to be given to the NHS.
The Arts , Heritage and Sports etc will have to find new ways to raise monies. All these are luxuries and in these proclaimed days of Austerity luxuries have to be forsaken.
The amount raised will have a significant effect on improving the NHS and should be done as soon as.

Probably at the point that the people of Wales stop blindly voting for the Labour party and start holding them to account more. However there comes a time when people have to move on. Socialists generally have an obsession with spending other peoples money without having to work for it themselves, hence the reason why so many people on benefits vote Labour. Labour is the party of benefit scroungers and immigrants and Tories are the party of the well off and people who want to work for a living.

It's not just the ready meals, it's all the other cheap crap they sell that is the cause of obesity.No-one is working to make people fat. Being lazy is the predominant reason for being fat. Blaming other people for your own failures is pathetic. People need to take responsibility, not pass it onto companies that make the fat food. I regularly eat food from the companies in your picture and its not them that are at fault for my weight getting higher. Its because I have eaten too much crap and not done enough exercise.

The shops are full of what people demand. You go to Tesco and its full or crap as the people that shop there eat crap. Pop into Morrisons or Sainsbury and what is on offer is completely different. Sainsbury has hardly any ready meals, whereas Tesco and Asda is full of ready meals.Products such as this are certainly not pushed at the demographic you refer to.

Because the poster said that he only eats fresh produce, and he didn't look 'lean & mean' to me, so I was wondering if there were any inaccuracies with his statement.
he,s never had a burger, well known MB fact, but people can be obese and not much east fast food you know. too many calories and not enough exercise will pile on the pounds in whatever form they are consumed
I see, thanks for the info. Croesy must be lazy, poor or uneducated user of fresh produce then http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/thumbup.gif
or just greedy (if he is in fact overweight http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/shrug.gif )Like a Cwmbran Father Christmas.

I seriously recommend viewing this documentary .. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2381335/

There is a lot more to obesity than meets the eye. The average Joe consumer doesn't stand much of a chance without re-educating themselves in the face of this government backed corporate onslaught.
