Whitts is a class act. LeFondre probably should have squared the ball back to Jones to allow him a shot at goal. Still great to have Gunnarsson's long throw back in play.

Still great to have Gunnarsson's long throw back in play.I hope Gunnarsson doesn't get selected purely for his long throws - after all, he offers very little else these days. Gunnarsson would be the first player I would be looking to replace.

Some very worrying passing stats to go along with the poor possession from yesterday. Less than 60% of passes completed.

The problem isn't our lack of possession but that we give other teams so much time to think about what to do with all their possession and so much space in which to operate. It's also that we're so ineffective in open play - linking to the passing stats - and at times had attacks of one or two players against their four or five defensive players. Could be linked to lack of fitness from the Ole days but likely to be lack of pace as well.

Fulham were one of the worst teams defending set pieces I've ever seen.

Every ball lobbed in seemed to cause absolute chaos! http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif
