Vincent Tan is expected back in town for the Bluebirds' Championship clash with Derby following his decision to revert the club back to blue....

What kind of reception will he get?

Hopefully momma tan will have a word in his ear about his manergerial appointment.

That's got to put pressure on Slade to deliver a result. Even if we win in the cup a third straight league defeat, at home and in front of his boss is going to make it very difficult for the manager.

He'll get polite applause from some people - others will ignore the sideshow and just concentrate on the football. Wonder if he'll be sporting a blue top along with his suit?

Nige - you cant give it up can you

You demand back to blue - which has been done for you.
The guy has put in millions for the privilege of you calling him a cun' t

And now you think he's allegedly taking money out of club - when he cant touch the parachute payments.

Grow some and try and support the team (I know it's hard) - but in Hammams words to try and understand your 'enemy' you have to look at it through their eyes and then maybe you will realise how they feel about you.

He's going to get ignored, just like he deserves. Maybe in the summer we can see if he deserves more or less than that.

Tan has been a poison to the club from the day he decided to ignore history and everybody else and rebrand the club. I'm afraid he is s poison that has to be removed if the club is ever to be successful again.

Without Tan and his investment there'd probably be a 90% chance that we would go to the wall. Despite his attempts to change tradition and run things (foolishly) his way, I am thankful for the other things he has done. Support the manager and the players 100% and the results will speak for themselves. If anybody needs replacing then they will be. The club is hemorrhaging money on wages because we ran before we could walk and I think its smart to trim the decadence of previous managers spending.

Mistakes were obviously made. Now he's trying to correct them and put together a decent competetive side. We played alright at Norwich and did decent at Boro. For every quality player I can tell you a player who doesn't want to be here.

We obviously won't agree on the current situation and that's fine.

Barring the penalty I doubt we've had a meaningful shot on target.

Alf - it was Bob Wilson (or could have been since62) who said that Tan cant touch the parachute payments as the money was specifically for players. And that was a reason why the situation is like 2 people who cant afford to get divorced.

All the PL can do is react to a situation if and when it happens - so if they believe there is something untoward going on then they can invoke whatever rule they have.

The punishment being ? - I dont know - maybe they can take an injunction out against the owner ? dunno.

Nige - a smiley helps - but if you give me a £100 of your money - you wont mind at all if I call you c u n't will you - which is probably how Tan feels amongst some of the support

I honestly think some are disappointed the back to blue issue has been resolved as its left a void in their lives. Lets all move on now and support the team.

He missed the only chance to get a good reception and that was before the Fulham game.

As soon as that game kicked off it was back to normal, no goodwill or extra support or anything- pretty poor atmosphere and like most agree he will just get ignored now.
