Kim was the most over rated player on this forum I can ever remember, he did a handful of decent things when he was here, but should have been bombed out long ago. The fact we had to release him without a team being prepared to pay a penny to get him, speaks volumes.

Many of you waxed lyrically about Kimbo, in spite of the obvious evidence in his 'performances. To re-cap a couple of the classics posted on this forum.

"He'll play for one of the top four in the Premier League." - He didn't

"He'll set the Premier League alight." - He didn't

"He'll play for one of the top teams in Europe." - He didn't

"He'll probably go for £15-18 million." - He didn't

Jimmy, during one of our many dis-agreements over Kimbo, I'm sure you'll remember we had a £100 charity bet, that I said we wouldn't get our money back on him (we were supposed to have paid £2-£2.5 million), and you said we would. Loser to pay to the charity of the winner's choice.

He's a class player but City failed to develop him for whatever reason(s) but we can say the same about plenty of personnel this past couple of years.
